Dr. Prasad is a highly experienced family physician with over 30 years in the field, specializing in internal medicine, pediatrics, basic surgery, and obstetrics/gynecology. He has a distinguished career, having worked in India, Africa, and the United States. 

Dr. Prasad completed his medical degree in 1977 at Magadh University and went on to complete residencies in internal medicine at Mount Sinai University and in family practice at Utica Hospital. He also finished the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certification in 1983 and the FLEX exam in 1991. 

He has served as a family physician at Centra State Freehold, Raritan Bay Medical Center, and Atlantic Healthcare's Old Bridge location.
